Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polish

When Topshop released their beauty line they caused quite a stir, but I haven't heard much about their products lately. A while back, before the highlighting trend became all the rage, I picked up one of their Glow Highlighters and have the review and swatches ready to share today.
The Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polish comes in a small frosted glass jar with a white screw top. It is quite pretty, compact and has some weight to it. There is 4 g of product inside. There are a couple different shades of this product available and I have the one called Polish. This is a creamy highlighter, that dries to almost a powder (it doesn't dry down completely and remains just slightly tacky). It has a very creamy and spreadable texture (almost like a jelly) and I like applying it either with fingers or using a fluffier brush. It blends out easily and gives a more diffused look on the skin and doesn't emphasise pores or skin texture. It adds a sheen to the skin, but you can also build it up, if you want to have it look more intense. It has a nice staying power and lasts on my skin for about 8 hours, before it starts fading.
The shade itself is really pretty and shifts from a light silvery pearl to an opalescent peachy-pink. It was quite difficult to catch the shifting in the photos and it mainly just looks like a silvery highlighter (I tried taking photos with a couple different cameras and none of them seemed to capture it well). If you look at it in sunshine you can see multicolored shimmery specks reflecting on the skin. Since it is a cream type product, it doesn't build well over powdered skin and actually makes the area look patchy. It is best applied over foundation, before you set it with powder (if you do set it). I tried wearing it as an eyeshadow a couple times, but it is too emollient to have a decent staying power on my oily lids (even with a primer it doesn't last over a couple hours), but it looks super pretty applied to the inner corner (it is actually light enough for me to use as an inner corner highlight).
